Weekend redux: Thievery and Homemade Pizza Company

Saturday evening, we went to see DC's own Thievery Corporation at 9:30 Club. It was packed and not as enjoyable as last year, but still good.  On Sunday I had lunch with my mom and worked on some Etsy stuff with her.

And this evening, G picked up a pizza from the new Homemade Pizza Company that just opened up down the street.  (They sell unbaked pizzas that you bake yourself at home.) We got the whole-wheat crust pizza Margherita (with roasted garlic)--what they call the Miesian.  The crust was chewy and crunchy, the cheese of great quality--very creamy and moist, and they added tons of fresh basil and good fresh tomatoes. It was really good!

Oh my goodness, I totally just stuffed (and I mean STUFFED) myself with pho and I have no right to be hungry again until like Thursday, but the last picture of the pizza with the stretchy, melty, stringy cheese ... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. What a GREAT picture.

That pizza photo is making me so hungry! I love pizza, and this one looks so mouthwatering. The more cheese the better, yum!
